I have a student teacher this semester- Sarah. She's awesome and will make a good teacher ( that is if she still decides to teach after dealing with some of my ---how shall I say--- more challenging students- and we have many). She has about a month left and I thought I'd make her a quilt as a present when she's done student teaching. I've been collecting vintage sheets now for a while and since Sarah's really girl, I thought I might make her a cute little quilt from my vintage sheet collection. I originally just cut up a bunch of 3 inch squares and wasn't sure what I was going to do, but I think it came out really cute. Now I just have to pick a sheet for the back and quilt it.

Vintage Sheet Quilt #1
WIP
I haven't posted anything new lately because they are baby shower gifts. Don't want the mommies to see them. As soon as I give them as presents I can post them. They are really cute and can't wait for you to see them.
Color Swaps
I'm participating in two color swaps:
1) Rainbow Color Swap March 2012. Here are my blues:
2) Austin Modern Quilt Guild- I'm in the Orange/Red Orange Catergory and the Blue/Green Blue Category
I can't wait to see what I get from the rest of the group
