OOPS

I don't know how I missed it. I've looked at this finished top hundreds of time. My sister noticed today that one of the squares needed to be turned. IT IS NOT fun trying to take apart this quilt to fix it. At least it was only 2 squares in instead of all the way in the middle of the quilt.

Finished Top of Fandango Quilt

Here's my Fandango Quilt top done. I love how the colors turned out. I'm even impressed with myself that I made a border around it. ( I had extra white and color pieces so it was pretty easy) . Notice I even have cute little corners!

Now I just have to make a back for it.

I have so many quilt tops and backs, now I just need to learn to quilt them ( or maybe my loving sister can show me how to do it on her longarm )

Isn't my baby cute?

Isn't she just the cutest thing ever helping me sew all my rows together.

Ok These aren't such good photos- but this is my pieces up on my design wall. I had all this Fandango fabric and I did a search on Flickr.com and found one I liked and copied her design.

I'll post another picture once it's actually all pieced together and has a border around it.

Whirly Giggle Quilt

I think is my favorite quilt top so far. I got the idea from Crazy Mom Quilts. Go ahead and get ready to sigh fellow quilters- the pattern fabric is from Hobby Lobby and Walmart. I didn't intend to use fabric from Walmart, but I needed a few more colors to go with the fabric I got at Hobby Lobby and I was on a roll and went to Walmart at midnight one night to get some more fabric- how dedicated and obsessed is that? I love love love how this turned out.

My cats love to quilt with me

As soon as I sit down to start quilting, my cats want to come sit in all my fabric and be in the middle of all the action. They like taking naps on the fabric! How can you not think they're the cutest things in the world! They just want to help mommy quilt!

A quilt for my Cats

My sister recently when on a quilting retreat ( and no she didn't invite me) but she did go to a new Quilt Shop in Dripping Springs Texas called Valli and Kim and found this charm pack of Dogs and Cats - I'll have to put a better picture up later- so I put them together with white fabric and did a disappearing 9 patch quilt. It came out cute. I have back and white checkered fabric for the back. My cats will love it!

4 Patch Quilt

This is my 3rd quilt I worked on. My sister was away in Japan on work for a month so I had to find something to do. So after the Wonky Square quilt was done, I decided to tackle another quilt. I figured the 9 patch quilt was too hard to I tried it with 4. I don't know that this is the correct name, but that's what i've been calling it- until I remember what the pattern is actually called. The first picture is the front of the quilt- the second on is the back of the quilt.

My Wonky Square Quilt

This is the quilt top for Quilt #2. The fabric was given to my sister from my mom. I liked the colors ,so when I started quilting, Laura let me use some of it. I don't think my mother was very happy about that. But the quilt top turned out very good. The pattern came from: piecemakers4life

I loved her technique. I think this came out pretty cute for my 2nd quilt top.

First Quilt

I have never quilted before. My sister has been trying for years to get me to quilt and I was in Jo Ann Fabrics and really liked this Halloween fabric so I made 2 quilts. My sister Laura, who is a long arm quilter, top quilted them for me.
